But how do you even begin the process of making a graphic novel? Join graphic novelist Victoria Jamieson as she talks about her career as a picture book creator turned graphic novelist. We’ll talk about writing scripts, panels, pacing, and the technical nitty-gritty of making a graphic novel. Come prepared with questions and some paper and pencils for this interactive and hands-on workshop.Victoria Jamieson is a New York Times bestselling author and illustrator of books for children. Her graphic novel ROLLER GIRL was awarded a 2016 Newbery Honor. Her newest graphic novel, WHEN STARS ARE SCATTERED, co-written with Omar Mohamed, was a National Book Award finalist. She lives with her family in Pennsylvania.
