Congratulations on being accepted as a participant in our Read Local Pilot Program! We are thrilled to get this underway, and it couldn’t happen without our talented Southern Breeze authors and illustrators like you.
The Read Local Challenge is a great way for local authors and illustrators in our region to connect with local readers, but it only works if we ALL work together. It’s far too much work for any one person to handle alone!
Our Read Local Team will print up the full-color Read Local Challenge posters and distribute them to schools/libraries/booksellers using the contacts you provide to us. We offer FREE Read Local Kits to any school/library/group who requests one while supplies last.
YOU should post the links on your websites/social media. Celebrate the successes of your fellow authors/illustrators. Talk up the challenge with your friends/neighbors/schools/libraries/favorite bookstores.
Once you’ve successfully registered and paid your contribution to the program, you will be contacted with next steps.
