There are three intensive tracks available, and each track will include multiple topics and faculty. Participants register for the full day and may choose different tracks in the morning and afternoon but may not select individual sessions from different tracks.

This is a pre-conference activity for individuals registered to attend Illustrators Day.

Projects will be presented at ID in a general session for discussion and comments

Illustrators Day, Writers’ Intensives and Spring Mingle Conference

Registration opens January 5, 2019


To Register:

SCBWI Members, you must log in before beginning your registration. This is the only way the member “ticket” will appear beneath your personal information on the registration form which should be automatically filled in after you have logged in to the SCBWI website.

SCBWI Student member discounts are automatically applied by the registration system when they register using SCBWI Member tickets. There is not a separate ticket for SCBWI Student members.

Non-members and Non-member Students, please fill in the personal information form. After your personal information is entered, click on the circle beside the appropriate “ticket” (Non-Member, Non-Member Student) before clicking the CONTINUE button at the bottom of the page. Non-Member Students, please bring your student ID card to registration for verification.

You must read and confirm that you have read the SCBWI Anti-harassment policy (there is a button to click) to continue to the payment portal. If you have any problems, please contact the Regional Advisor

Can’t afford it?

An RA scholarship is available for a first time attendee. For more information, contact the Regional Advisor at Deadline for consideration is January 30.

The Liz Conrad Illustration Award is also available for illustrators. Submission deadline is January 1. Click here for more information.
